Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data DLGram handles, what it deliberately does not collect, and which third-party services are involved when you use the site.

What we do not collect

DLGram has no accounts, no registration and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or Instagram credentials in order to use the downloader.

The Instagram links you paste are used to fetch the media and are held briefly in a temporary cache (about five minutes) so that repeated requests for the same post are fast. They are not written to a database and are not tied to you in any way. The media files themselves are never stored on our servers — they stream from Instagram's network straight through to your browser.

Server logs

Like practically every website, our web server records standard access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, response code, browser user-agent and referring page. These are used to diagnose faults, measure load and detect abuse. They rotate automatically and are deleted after 14 days.

Cookies and local storage

We store your language and light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage, and the list of your five most recent downloads so the page can show them again. This information stays on your device — it is never transmitted to us and we cannot read it.

In addition, the third-party services listed below set their own cookies. You can block or delete all of them in your browser settings; the downloader will keep working.

Google AdSense

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also serve ads on this site using their own cookies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — how many people visit, which pages they open, which countries they come from. It sets cookies and processes an anonymised form of your IP address. We use it only in aggregate; we do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine analytics data with anything else.

Instagram and Meta

When you download a file, your browser connects directly to Instagram's content delivery network (cdninstagram.com / fbcdn.net) to retrieve it. That connection is subject to Meta's own privacy practices, over which we have no control and no visibility. DLGram is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them. Because we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing about a child that we could hold.

Your rights

Since we hold no personal accounts or profiles, there is normally nothing to export or delete. If you believe our server logs contain data relating to you and you want it removed, write to turginboyevahrorbek7@gmail.com and we will handle it. Residents of the EEA, the UK and California have rights of access, deletion and objection under the GDPR and the CCPA respectively, and we honour those requests through the same address.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a third-party service, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
