About DLGram
DLGram is a free, browser-based tool for saving public Instagram media — photos, videos, Reels, IGTV, carousels, Stories and profile pictures — directly to your device. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
What the site does
You paste a link to a public Instagram post — or simply type a username — and DLGram fetches the media file and hands it to you in its original quality. Videos arrive as MP4, photos as JPG or WebP, exactly as Instagram stores them. Nothing is re-encoded, so no quality is lost along the way.
For videos you can open a quality menu and pick between resolutions from 240p up to 1080p, each labelled with its file size. For photos you can choose the pixel dimensions, and convert WebP to JPG if your software cannot read WebP.
Why it exists
Instagram deliberately offers no download button. Screenshots lose resolution and capture interface elements; screen recordings lose audio quality and add compression. People who legitimately need a copy — a creator archiving their own posts, a designer collecting references, someone saving a recipe or a workout before it disappears from Stories — are left without a workable option.
DLGram fills that gap with a tool that is fast, requires no login, and does not ask for permissions it does not need. It never asks for your Instagram credentials, because it does not need them.
What we do not do
We do not support private accounts. Content behind a private profile is not publicly available, and no amount of technical capability makes downloading it appropriate. Requests for private profiles return a clear error.
We do not host any media. Files are fetched from Instagram's own content delivery network and passed straight to your browser. Nothing is stored on our servers, and there is no library or archive of downloaded content anywhere in the system.
Copyright
Every photo and video on Instagram belongs to whoever created it. Downloading a copy for personal, offline viewing is generally accepted; republishing someone else's work, using it commercially, or presenting it as your own is not. DLGram gives you the file — the responsibility for what you do with it is yours.
Languages and availability
The site is available in English, Uzbek, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian and Arabic, and works in any modern browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. There is also a Telegram bot for people who prefer to stay inside a chat.
Who runs it and how to reach us
DLGram is an independent project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Questions, bug reports, copyright concerns and removal requests all go to turginboyevahrorbek7@gmail.com — we read every message.
