How to Download Instagram Photos
DLGram downloads any public Instagram photo as a full-resolution JPG file — free, no watermarks, no registration. Works on iPhone, Android and desktop directly in the browser.
Step 1 — Copy the Instagram Photo Link
Open Instagram and go to the photo post you want to save.
On the Instagram app (mobile):
Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top right of the post → tap "Copy link".
On Instagram.com (desktop):
Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the post → select "Copy link", or copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar.
Step 2 — Paste into DLGram
Go to dlgram.org and paste the link into the input field. DLGram detects the photo automatically and displays it within seconds.
Step 3 — Download the Photo
Click the Download button. The photo is saved as a JPG file in the highest available resolution directly from Instagram's servers — no watermarks, no quality loss.
Photo Quality and Format
DLGram downloads Instagram photos as JPG files in the highest resolution available — the same file Instagram stores on its servers. Instagram stores photos at up to 1080 × 1350 pixels (portrait) or 1080 × 1080 pixels (square). DLGram does not compress or resize the image.
JPG is universally compatible — it opens in the Photos app on iPhone, Android gallery, Windows Photos, Mac Preview, and all image editors including Photoshop, Lightroom and Canva.

Downloading Instagram Carousel Photos
Carousel posts contain multiple photos (and sometimes videos) in a single post. DLGram supports carousels — when you paste a carousel link, all items are displayed individually so you can download each photo separately.
There is no limit on how many photos you download from a carousel. See the full carousel download guide for step-by-step instructions.
Saving Instagram Photos to Your Computer
DLGram works in all desktop browsers. Open dlgram.org in Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on your PC or Mac, paste the Instagram photo link and click Download. The JPG file saves to your computer's Downloads folder.

Troubleshooting
The photo opens in a new tab instead of downloading
Right-click the Download button (desktop) and select "Save link as". On iPhone, tap and hold the button and select "Download linked file".
The link is not recognized
Make sure you copied a direct post link. It should start with instagram.com/p/. Profile links and hashtag pages are not supported.
The photo quality is lower than expected
DLGram always downloads the highest quality Instagram stores. If the resolution seems low, the creator may have uploaded a low-resolution image originally.
